General information

The Interregional Conference is organized by: • CIGR Section I • SUPROMED PRIMA Project, • MEDWATERICE PRIMA Project • PRECIMED PRIMA Project

The Conference aims to be a forum for meeting and reflection between farmers, technicians and researchers, within the process of demonstration and transfer of research results to the productive sector under the scenario of decreasing water availability and increasing energy costs. Thus, we will contribute to the social, economic, and environmental sustainability of water and energy use in agroecosystems located in arid and semi-arid areas, helping cope with climate change. Simultaneous translation will be used to achieve greater participation in the dissemination and transfer of research results. Theme

The most important results of general interest of the three European projects financed by the PRIMA Foundation (SUPROMED www.supromed.eu, PRECIMED https://precimed-prima.org and MEDWATERICE https://www.medwaterice.org/), as well as the updated FAO-56 manual, will be presented by different invited speakers. In addition, in oral or poster format, classic-format congress papers will be presented to complement the previous ones according to their subject matter.

Structure and contends

1. In order to encourage as many participants as possible at the Interregional Conference, no registration fee is required. However, in order to attend, both face-to-face and online, registration is mandatory.

2. All accepted submissions will be published in the related Interregional Conference Proceedings (e-book), and a certificate of participation in the Interregional Conference will be obtainable.
