SUPROMED technical visit in Tunisia was held on 25-27 February 2020. The project coordinator (UCLM) was present with the Tunisian partners (INGC and INRGREF) during the 3 days meeting in Tunisia. During the first day a training session was organized for 20 people (Students, Researchers from INRGREF and Engineers from INGC) at “Cité des Sciences of Tunis” on irrigation software (MOPECO, PRESUS, DOPIR and IREY), moderated by Mr. Alfonso Dominguez, Mr. José María from UCLM and Mr. Radhouan Nciri from INGC. On the second day the Tunisian partners and the project coordinator visited SUPROMED plots in Sidi Bouzid (pistachio orchard, oat plots, onion plot and olive orchard). During the third day, the partners visited SUPROMED plot of durum wheat and meet with stakeholders in Sidi Bouzid (CRDA: Regional Commissariat for Agricultural Development and URAP: Regional Union of Agriculture and Fisheries).

The national kick-off workshop of the Prima project "SUPROMED" was held on November 19, 2019 in Sidi Bouzid, Tunisia. During the meeting Tunisian partners of the project ( INGC and NRGREF) meet the principal actors of the region and presented the project activities at the national level.
The workshop brought together more than 70 participants, farmers, researchers and regional and national decision-makers.

SUPROMED “Sustainable Production in water limited environments of Mediterranean agro-ecosystem” is a new PRIMA project!!
The project started on 03 October 2019 with a 2-days kick-off meeting at the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) in Albacete, Spain. PRIMA foundation has participated at the meeting and explained the ruels for scientific monitoring of SUPROMED.
The main objective of SUPROMED is to enhance the economic and environmental sustainability of Mediterranean farming systems through a more efficient management of water, energy and fertilizers.
